We recommend bringing sunglasses (polarized preferred), sunscreen, a hat, comfortable non-slip deck shoes (light soles only), and motion sickness tablets if you are prone to seasickness. All tackle, bait, snacks, and drinks are provided.
The giant bluefin tuna season in our waters (Madeira and the Canary Islands) typically runs from April through November. Peak activity and trophy sightings occur during the summer months from June to September.
In accordance with international ocean conservation mandates, we practice 100% "Catch & Release" for all bluefin tuna and marlin. However, if we hook game fish such as dorado (mahi-mahi), albacore, or wahoo, our crew will gladly prepare fresh sashimi on board or vacuum-pack fillets for you to take home.
